Abstract: MILLICENT ROSE S. ALIERMO and ALMIL D. DACOLIAT. Exposure to Print Media and Media Literacy of Selected Students of College of Arts and Sciences. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Ms. Ruby A. Manaig. The study aimed to determine the relationship between exposure to print media and the media literacy of selected students of College of Arts and Sciences, specifically the level of exposure to print media of the selected students of College of Arts and Sciences and their level of media literacy. The study used correlation design where a survey questionnaire was administered among 350 BA Journalism and non-BA Journalism students. Mean, standard deviation and Pearson chi-square were the statistical tools used. The study showed that the selected students were partially exposed to print media as determined by the frequency and times they have read newspapers and that they were media literate. The data gathered evidently show that there is a relationship between exposure to print media and media literacy. This means that the more students are exposed to print media, their media literacy increases.
