Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Ms. Gemmae G. Pitong This study was conducted for the Mobile Health Application for Diseases Precipitated by Cigarette Smoking. This aims to provide information about diseases precipitated by cigarette smoking. It also helps to support and quit from smoking to stay healthy. Prototyping Model was used as the methodology which includes different methods used to develop the system and these are the requirement gathering, quick design, building prototype, customer evaluation, refining prototype, and engineer product. The software was evaluated and tested using unit and integration testing. The application, software and tools used to develop the system were: SQLite for the database storage, Eclipse for the programming language, and Photoshop CS4 for the designing for the development of the system. The system was evaluated by the respondents based on the given criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. Evaluators were composed of 50 respondents, 30 of them are barangay health works and 20 are the city health employees. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the features and functionality.
