Abstract: SHEILLA B. BUHAY, DIANA A. DIRAIN, and MA. EDROZELLE P. DOCTORA “Perception of Cavite State University College of Nursing Graduates Batches 2006 and 2007 on the Relevance of Review Centers in their Performance in the Nursing Examination”. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 2008. Advisers: Vina V. Velasco, RN and Jigger C. Ramos, RN. This study was conducted in Cavite State University from December 2007 to March 2008, in order to determine the students’ perception on the relevance of review centers in their performance in the nursing licensure examination. The study was conducted using non-experimental research design along with descriptive approach. The approach described and interpreted the relevance of review centers to the performance of the students in the nursing licensure examination. Based on the data gathered, both the review centers and the comprehensive discussions from school had relevance in the successful performance of Cavite State University College of Nursing Graduates, batches 2006 and 2007 in the Nursing \ Licensure Examination. Their success was not only because of the help of the review centers but also with the help of knowledge they have learned from school. It was also seen in the results that the reasons and advantages of enrolling in review centers were associated with their success in the licensure examination. Books and lectures also served as a reviewer for the graduates. Reading these materials helped them prepare and pass the licensure examination, although some believed that they passed the examination by luck. As perceived by the graduates who failed, the main reason of their failure was that the questions and topics in the examination were not discussed during their review. The topics that were supposed to be reviewed were not given enough importance and attention.
