The study on the Design and Development of Diffuser Augmented Wind Turbine was conducted to integrate the lessons acquired in the Electrical Engineering program. The study aimed to evaluate the wind generator with a duct that surround the rotor blade in the university; provide the university a reference for the future researchers; evaluate the system in a span of three weeks; provide an illustration of the behavior of the resulted power output; and compute the project cost. The study covered the provision and construction of the diffuser system to be evaluated, which includes one wind turbine tower unit, diffuser hollow structure, and controllers. Outputs include the soft and hard copy of the evaluation results, and installation manual of the device. The total cost of the study was Php 61, 405.00.
