Summary: "This learning material introduces and highlights creative nonfiction as one of the interesting, genres of literature. It primarily engages the learner in the critical study, survey and analysis of its salient features, conventions including various text forms which are under this literary form. Through this humble piece of work, the learners’ knowledge about creative nonfiction is desired to be broadened as they apply critical and creative thinking skills which aid in making them imaginative readers and writers of creative nonfiction texts. Also, it is anticipated to the genuine enthusiasm and interest exploring the beauty of creative nonfiction. Indeed, there is much to be learned about creative nonfiction, however, given the limited instructional time, this material hopes to motivate the learners to make the learning and teaching experience meaningful and enjoyable. The book includes relevant topics for meaningful class discussion and independent learning. It has also a variety of exercises that provide challenging episodes as these are designed to help the learners to explore their liking for and potentials in writing.
