SENIN. "Online Computer Aided Instruction On Operating System". A Special Problem Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. October 2004. Adviser: Mr. Marlon A. Diloy.
The study aimed to develop an Online Computer Aided Instruction on Operating System. Specifically, it aimed to provide a supplementary online educational tool and to lessen the burden of instructors in preparing visual aids. The study also aimed to consolidate topics on operating systems from different references and to develop software that will capture the interest of the learner through the use of multimedia. One of the beneficiaries of the present study are the students enrolled in subjects such as Associate in Computer Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. The students can use the software as a supplementary educational tool on the subject. The teachers can also benefit from the study. It can lessen their burden in preparing visual aids and other presentations during class discussion. The software is user-friendly for the user to easily understand each topic.
In developing the software, the proponents used Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Java Script and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). My Structured Query Language
(MySQL) was used as database since it is supported by PHP language.
