Abstract: JIMENEZ, JERICHO U., REYES, PAUL ANDREW S. and VILLETA, ROMULO P., Construction and Development of an Instructional EFI 4A-GE Engine. Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Automotive Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2006. Adviser: Eduardo J. Llanita The construction and development of an instructional EFI 4A-GE engine was conducted in Daang Amaya. Tanza, Cavite. It was tested and evaluated at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology on February 6-16, 2006. The study was conducted to provide an opportunity to the students to gain knowledge about EFI engine and to help the instructor in teaching how to read trouble codes of an EFI engine and to conduct cost analysis in the construction of the project. The system has three major parts: the EFI Engine, the ECU (Electronic Computer Unit) and the frame. The frame consists of channel bars and GI pipes. The instructional EFI engine was constructed and evaluated for reliability and functionality by a panel of evaluators. The project obtained an over-all rating of very satisfactory. The total cost of the project on Php 32, 696.00.
