Abstract: LOMBOY, GABRIEL ANGELO L. and OLARTE, MARIETONY. A System Study at R.H Manalo Resource Inc. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Dr. Willie C. Buclatin. The study entitled "A System Study at R.H Manalo Resources Inc." was conducted to identify the company's operational system and to address the issue by providing recommendations and solutions. The problems were identified by the researchers' in-depth interviews. The problems were the health and safety within the workplace, the company's existing workforce do not have specific/defined tasks to be accomplished, and the lengthier time required to carry finished goods from the brine pool to the storage room. The researchers used the developmental type of research described as the systematic study of creating, developing, and assessing the company's system, procedures, and products that must meet the criteria for internal consistency and efficacy. The research instrument used was an interview questionnaire along with the data collection of primary and secondary sources. Moreover, the DMAIC methodology was the main tool used in the study to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing operation of R.H Manalo Resources Inc. Moreover, the research shows that the flow process chart shows that there is a 1.089% decrease in the total time and a 13% decrease in the total distance, and the 5S checklist shows that there is a positive increase of 142.11% in the audit score, while the flow process diagram shows that there is a 77.78% in the total output of ice blocks. As a result of the implementation of the study, the current situation of the company was defined, together with its problems and their root causes. The researchers provided solutions to the problems' recognized causative factors. The time and distance required to transfer ice blocks from the brine to the storage room have been decreased, and workers' essential duties have been clarified, thereby eliminating their needless duties. These results were done using several IE tools used by the researchers
