This study conducted from November 2017 to March 2019 at Cavite State University - Main Campus. The purpose of the study was to help the students familiarized with the different facilities and infrastructures inside Cavite State University Main Campus through an egg-hunt style Android game.
Incremental life cycle model was used as the methodology of the system. To implement the matching techniques of the system, the Vuforia API and GPS sensor were used. They also used Unity, C# programming for building the system, Backendless and Gamesparks REST API for the mobile application cloud database, Adobe Photoshop in designing the application's UI, and Microsoft Office Word for the documentation. One hundred random students from the Department of Information of Technology of Cavite State University Main Campus and 10 chosen faculty members of Department of Information of Technology evaluated the system. The results were collected through an evaluation form based on ISO 9126.
According to the overall result of the evaluation, the system was judged to be "Excellent" using the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. The researchers concluded that the system is helpful to make the students familiarized with the different buildings and landmarks inside the university.
