Abstract: ABSTRACT CIONELO, AUGUSTO T. and RACHELLE-ANNE CAMACHO. Training Needs Assessment on Gender and Development of the Municipal Employees of Indang, Cavite Undergraduate thesis. Bachelor of Science in Economics. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. June 2018. Adviser Dr. Nelia C. Cresino The study was conducted to determine the training needs on gender and development of the municipal employees of Indang, Cavite from January to April 2018. A total of 285 municipal employees served as the participants of the study frequency counts, means and percentages were used to present the data. Majority of the municipal personnel were male, married, college graduates, had an average age of 43 years, housel hold size of five members with a monthly salary of 5,000 to 94,000, a little less than 50 percent of the participants were administrative aide, Roman Catholic and had been working for an average of 9 years. Majority of the municipal personnel have low level of familiarity or knowledge on GAD) Gender and Development concepts, GAD Policies, Mandates and Tools. Only few of the municipal personnel had attended seminars and trainings related to (GAD) Gender and Development.
