Factors Influencing Employability of BS Criminology Graduates of Cavite State
University Main Campus Batches 2015—2019. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of
Science in Criminology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. July 2022. Adviser: Ms.
Alexis R. Alcantara. This study aimed to determine the factors influencing employability of Bachelor of
Science (BS) Criminology graduates batches 2015-2019 of Cavite State University - Coliege of
Criminal Justice, Main Campus. Specifically, this aimed to: 1) identify the employment data of
the participants in terms of employment status, present occupation and years of service; 2)
assess the factors that can affect the employability of criminology graduates in terms of
communication skills, entrepreneurial skills, problem-solving skills, human relation skills,
information technology skills, critical thinking skills, leadership skills, adaptive skills and
teamwork skills; 3) determine the significant relationship between the employment data and the
factors that can affect the employability of criminology graduates; and 4) determine the
significant difference between the employment data and the factors that can affect the
employability of criminology graduates. A quantitative research design was applied, specifically descriptive design where a
survey questionnaire was used to gather feedback from the respondents. The findings of this
study revealed that most Of the employed respondents are regular or permanent in their
workplace as majority Of them are self-employed as well as working in the tri-bureau agencies
that was in line with their completed course. There is a significant relationship between the
employment status and the factors that can affect the employability of criminology graduates in
terms of entrepreneurial skills as most of the respondents are self-employed and chose to
manage their own business. Likewise, information technology skills had a significant relationship
to the employment status of the graduates because it is mostly needed in a workplace.
There is a significant difference between the employment status and the factors that
can affect the employability of criminology graduates in terms of information technology skills
because in today's technology-driven world, most professionals need at least a basic
understanding of information technology to succeed in nearly any position and information
