Abstract: ORQUESTA, RONALD P., and RODRIGUEZ, REYMON C., Cavite Intervention on a Viverrid Extinction & Trafficking: The Philippines C.I.V.E.T. Sanctuary. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. January 2022. Adviser: Ar. Kenn Paolo C. Valero, uap. Technical Critic:Ar. Kathleen N. Bescaser, uap. The research was conducted at the College of Engineering and Information Technology from August 2021 to May 2022 in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, to create a ground-breaking design for the CIVET (Cavite Intervention on a Viverrid Extinction & Trafficking): The Philippines Civet Sanctuary. in particular, the research sought to 1.) collect information and data required for the proposal; 2.) set evaluation criteria for the location and identification of potential places; 3.) use the existing site to choose a location criterion; 4.) create a design idea, a form concept, philosophy, design concerns, and tactics pertinent to the proposal; 5.) decide on the places and facilities required for the Philippines Civet Sanctuary's effective and efficient design; 6.) create architectural presentation drawings for the proposal, including site measurements, floor plans, sections, elevations, perspectives, and a development plan; and 7.) make a presentation of the planned Philippines Civet Sanctuary, including a walkthrough or a fly through. The researchers collected data to understand better and enhance them. They also developed site criteria and conducted site selection and analysis as part of their research. Architectural programming, space calculations, and optimum design conceptualization are approaches to the idea and design of the proposed research. Presentation boards were created using AutoCAD, SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop, and walkthrough presentations were created using video editing tools. The study locations are Forest Park in Barangay Luciano, Trece Martires City Cavite. The proposed Philippine Civet Sanctuary has a total land area of 1.45hectares. The main goal of the Philippines Civet Sanctuary is to conserve civets so that they may live in their natural habitats free of poaching and trafficking. It is also known as a natural reserve or a nature protection area. The research will be able to provide data by identifying the best planning and architecture of an institutional facility that will incorporate all animal wildlife-related studies and problems. The Biophilic design approach was used to create the facilities at the Philippines Civet Sanctuary because it is a construction industry concept that uses direct nature, indirect nature, and space and place variables to improve occupant connectedness to the natural world. Natural lighting and ventilation, natural landscape features, and other aspects were brought into the buildings to provide users with a more productive and healthier constructed environment. The planned Philippines Civet Sanctuary was separated into public, semi- private, and private zones. The proposed Philippines Civet Sanctuary spaces overview; 1.) Administration, 2.) Multipurpose Hall, 3.) Exhibit Hall, 4.) Educational Room, 5.) Coffee Shop, 6.) The Veterinary Clinic, 7.) Material Recovery Facilities, 8.) Recreational Facilities, 9.) Tree House, 10.) Sanctuary, 11.) Research and Development, 12.) Rescue Center and 13.) Coffee Farm. The main materials employed in the design of the facilities are wood and Stucco finish. The amenities were well-oriented and well-located inside the complex. The researchers developed and presented architectural plans, sections, elevations, perspectives, and walkthrough presentations
