Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite April 2008. Adviser: Mrs. Louella Burgos. This study was conducted to identify the factors which result to clinical errors made by Student Nurses, provide information to teachers and staff nurses about the commonly-committed clinical errors of Student Nurses, serve as a basis to improve the clinical performance of Student Nurses and for the Student Nurses to become cautious from committing clinical errors. The data that were gathered will benefit not only the Student Nurses concerned to improve and strengthen their awareness but also the recipients of care. Furthermore, the researchers and their respondents respectively will also be benefited because they will gain knowledge and enhance their level of awareness about the factors which lead them from committing clinical errors. The research design which is Non-experimental descriptive research was utilized in a natural setting in order to get information from the Batch 2008 Student Nurses in CvSU regarding their commonly-committed clinical errors and the factors resulting to the clinical errors. The results of the study show that the teacher, personal, medical health care team member and environmental factors cause clinical errors to the Nursing Students. This also revealed that there is high significant difference between male and female to the factors resulting to clinical errors committed by the Student Nurses Batch 2008. And lastly, it also revealed that factors are highly correlated to clinical errors committed by the Student Nurses Batch 2008.
