Cavite State University, Indang Cavite, March 2016. Adviser: Ms. LinaC. Abogadie. The entrepreneurs chose a printing service business for their Entrepreneurial Development Project. This entrepreneurial project was conducted to provide opportunities for the proponents to apply their knowledge and skills gained as marketing students in a real business environment. Specifically, the project aimed to provide quality printing, scanning, and photocopying services with a competitive price within the vicinity of Cavite State University, implement market strategies to maximize sales, determine the profitability of a printing business and identify problems encountered in managing a printing business and recommend feasible solutions. The project operated from December 1, 2015 up to February 29, 2016. It was located at the CvSU University Mall and moved to the EDP center beside the building of College of Economics Management and Development Studies, inside the Cavite State University main campus during the entrepreneurial week. The business offered different services such as document printing, photo printing, photocopying, and scanning. To promote the business, the entrepreneurs used some promotional tools such as flyers/leaflets and tarpaulins/banners. Printing discounts were given to those students who are conducting their Thesis, Entrepreneurial Development Project and Case Study reports. Free service delivery to customers inside the University was provided. The business operated as a partnership managed by three entrepreneurs. An initial capital of 30,000 was shared equally to start the business. At the end of operation, the business generated total sales of P 55, 600.00, total gross profit of P 37,618.99and total net profit of P 32,246.90.
