Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Prof. Gener T. Cueno. An enterprise development project was operated for 88 days or three months at Cavite State University, Indang Cavite from June 11, 2014 to September 16, 2014.The general objective of the project was to give students firsthand experience in managing a food business, and transforming theoretical knowledge in business management to practical applications. The project aimed to describe the strategies used in producing and marketing innovative corn products, identify the profitability of corn food based business, determine the problems encountered in the business and suggest feasible solutions to the problems identified. A starting capital ofP30, 000 that was equally shared by the entrepreneurs was used to start the business. The enterprise was in the form of partnership. The responsibilities, operations and decisions concerning the vital aspects of the business were equally distributed and shared by the entrepreneurs. The project covered the functional management areas such as planning, organization, controlling, leading, production, marketing and finance. By conducting this project, the entrepreneurs gained knowledge and skills in the actual business operation such as, implementation ofdecision making, organizing, business strategies and customer relations. For the three months of operation, House of Corn had generated total sales of P 210,374.00, a net income of P 116,658.54 and cost of foods sales amounting to P 82,411.60.
