Abstract: DUMAN, MARY ANGEL C., MEDENILLA, REICHELL ANGELA P., An Analytical Study of the Industrial Engineering Graduates from Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. July 2022. Adviser: Engr. Jay Vee L. Lacostales. The study aimed to trace the employability and marketability of Cavite State University industrial engineering (IE) graduates from 2017 to 2020. The study focused in the profile of the industrial engineering graduates, the school related factors and graduate related factors in terms of marketability, the exam taken by the graduates, the employment data of the graduates, the significant relationship between marketability and employability, and suggestion/recommendations towards the improvement of the program. In order to collect data, a modified standard questionnaire from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was used. The methodology used in the study was by using questionnaires that were disseminated via Google form through social media platforms. Descriptive and correlation statistical were used to analyze the data. The study included the industrial engineering graduates from the year 2017 to 2020 as the respondents. The data were coded, tallied and tabulated for better presentation, analysis and interpretation of the results. The conclusions of the study showed that although there was no significant relationship between marketability and employability, by looking at the percentage of employed graduates (86.96%), it showed that graduates are competitive in the job market by applying the abilities they learned while at university. This also proves that the skills of graduates are in accordance with industry requirements. The study concluded that IE graduates from Cavite State University are competent individuals who generate good employment rate; thus, it only proved that the basis of learning has a great influence on graduates to demand for work. Furthermore, the researchers recommended that those who intend to take Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in the future should emphasize the importance of learning, as it affects their ability to be in demand for corporate work.
