Student Portal System for Senior High School Department in Dasmarifias East Integrated
High School. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology,
Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Ms. Joy M. Peji.
The study was conducted to develop a web-based student portal system for Dasmarifias
East Integrated High School-Senior High School Department. It is a system that allowed
enrolled students to access their information, grades, and subjects enrolled. This system also
helped the teachers and the registrar to easily monitor the students and their information online.
The researchers utilized the Agile Methodology for the development as the system was
susceptible to changes as it progressed. Moreover, the system has been checked and
evaluated over time before it proceeded to the next phase of the development until the users'
satisfaction was met.
On the latter part, the developed system received excellent feedback from its intended
users based on the system evaluation held by the researchers. The evaluation form made was
based on ISO 9126 or the international standard for software evaluation.
Therefore, the system development was a success as it met its given objectives, and
performed and functioned as how it was designed. All the modules embedded worked efficiently
as the system was tested by the researchers and provided positive impacts for its intended
users and to the SHS department of the institution.
