AALA, IGNACIO CANTAL. Philippine Beverage Partners, Incorporated General Trias, Cavite. Undergraduate Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2007. Adviser: Dr. Nelia C. Cresino.
A study was conducted from December 08, 2006 to March 15, 2007. It aimed to enable the student to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom to the actual business situation. Specifically, it aimed to describe the organization, management and operation of the firm, identify the problems encountered by the firm, and recommend feasible solutions to the problem. Data and information used in the study were gathered through interview with the supervisor, department heads and employees of the firm and also through observation in the firm's operation. Other data were gathered from the company's files and records. Marketing support is done through a series of advertising.
The prominent product in the market was bottled water with its brand name "Wilkins" Distilled Drinking Water. The company followed two process methods on the product such as Wilkins Distilled Drinking Water - Bulk and Retail and it is said to be the evident proof of PhilBev Gen. Trias Plant excellence. Several problems were encountered by the firm and the author was able to give feasible solution on such problems. Data gathering was one of the major problems encountered by the author.
The company has a strict policy regarding records of confidentiality thus the author spent a hard time to complete the information needed to finish this manuscript. Lack of computer expertise was also the problem encountered by the student.
