A field study was conducted for 480 hours at Sea Globe Transways Corporation (SGTC) located at Unit 303A, Mercantile Insurance Building, Gen. Luna corner Beaterio St., Intramuros, Manila. It aimed to describe the organizations and management of the firm, describe the marketing strategies used by the firm, identify the problems encountered by the firm and recommend possible solutions to the problems. Data and information about the company’s operations were gathered from the company files, observations, and personal interviews with some of the employees. The study focused on the marketing and operations of the company. Sea Globe Transways Corporation is an international and domestic freight forwarding company. It is known for its timely deliveries and quality services which provide its customers with both confidence and peace of mind. Sea Globe Transways Corporation provides continuous satisfaction to its entire costumers by taking the time to discover how they can best meet the needs and challenges of their costumers and develop programs that will provide them with a competitive advantage. Sea Globe offers a variety of services to meet the customers’ satisfaction such as, international sea and air freight forwarding, domestic sea and air freight forwarding, non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), less than container cargo consolidation, and door-to-door movements. The study provided the author the idea on how to deal with different situations while working as an employee and further enhanced the skills and knowledge gained inside the classroom.
