BENEDICTO, Monina Ira B. and SIERRA, Christine D. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 2003. "Online Computer Aided Instruction on Industrial Instrumentation and Control for Bachelor in Industrial Technology Students." Adviser: Ms. Evangeline R. Arboleda
The study was made for the benefit of the instructor and students of Industrial Instrumentation and Control of the Cavite State University, which serves as an instructional material that is readily accessible, cater the needs of user in acquiring the information needed regarding the subject by providing consolidated resources, evaluates the user's learning capacity by giving exam after the presentation of each topic, and provides a teaching aid which could be used by the user based on his learning phase or capability.
The software was developed using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), JavaScript, Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), Apache Server, MySQL Server, Microsoft FrontPage, and Adobe Photoshop. Paper prototyping was used as the paradigm.
The software contains home, lessons, glossary, profiles, and about. There are two levels of access for users, the administrator, and the student. The administrator is the one who is in control of maintaining the database. There is also maximum-security protection because the users are required to login with a definite username and password before they can use the system.
