Abstract: FRANCISCO, MARK S. and RODIS, RANDEL R. Sales and Inventory System of Marketing Center in Cavite State University- Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Ms. Lydia P. Nosa. The study was developed to help the Marketing Center of Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite in achieving its goals for continues improvement of organizational performance. The objective of the study was to provide an ease of access in carrying out and managing the marketing's function and improve their current system. The development of a LAN-based sales and inventory system will aid in eliminating the difficulty in monitoring the organization's inventory, handling employees' credit, creating accurate reports in order to have a reliable, efficient and secured system. The study was conducted from June 2012 to October 2014. The proponents used Software Development Methodology as the paradigm for the development of the software. The methodology consists of seven process workflows namely; analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code — test/debug, integration of sub procedures, integration with existing system, test/implementation. The tools that were used in creating the system were Visual Basic.net for the programming language and MySQL for the database. The LAN-based sales and inventory system of Marketing Center in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite passed the variety of testing including unit test, integration test, system test, and system evaluation. In the system evaluation, the ISO 9126 evaluation form was used, assessing the system in terms of its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. Based on the results, the system was evaluated as excellent in all the identified criteria. The difficulties in the organization were given a solution by the function of the system.
