Abstract: ARCEO, TRINA MAE M. Needs Assessment of BS International Studies Students of Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in International Studies major in Southeast Asian Studies. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Prof. Nelia E. Feranil. A study was conducted to determine the needs of the BS International Studies students in Cavite State University. The 159 students who served as participants were from Cavite State University — Main Campus. Descriptive research design was used in the study. The study also used a questionnaire that was distributed to the participants. Majority of the participants were females, and their age ranged from 16 to 27 years old. Majority of them have a monthly family income ranging from P10,000 to P20,000. Many of the participants were satisfied with the course International Studies as their first course choice since their first year in college, but only almost a third of the participants have decided which career path they will pursue in the future. Most of the participants needed medium assistance in terms of career development and life skills development while they needed little assistance over knowing one's self, educational needs, and getting along with others.
