The study was conducted at Jollibee Food Corp., from July to December 2015 to evaluate the participant's socio-emotional competencies, stress level and coping strategies of working college students. This study aimed to determine the socio-emotional competencies of working college students in terms of (a) Self Awareness (h) Social Awareness (c) Managing Emotion (d) Relationship Management and (e) Responsible Decision Making. Determine the stress level of the working college students. Investigate the coping strategies used by the working college students in terms of: (a) Avoidant-focused (b) Problem-focused and (c) Emotion-focused. Determine the significant relationship of the (a) Socio- emotional competencies and stress level (b) Socio-emotional competencies and coping strategies and (c) Stress level and coping strategies. The study utilized the descriptive correlational research design to answer the research problems. A multi-stage was used in order to obtain the appropriate participants of the study. After the cluster sampling, simple random sampling of the participants was used. In statistical treatment the researchers used mean, standard deviation and spearman rank correlation. There is a relationship between socio-emotional competencies and coping strategies of the working students. It is also identified that most of the working college students used avoidant focused in coping with their stress. This study uses socio- emotional competencies scale with 25 items, stress scale with 10 and coping test with 15. The statistical treatments that were used mean, standard deviation and spearman rank correlation. The research designs that is used is descriptive correlation research. The findings may be useful in other working students with the same variables and first-hand contact and provide service like flight stewardess, hotel and restaurant management, front desk staff or tourist guide and other participants whom related to working college students. The researcher that realized that it can be difficult to balance work and school, but it can certainly be done. They can make responsible decisions and manage their emotions and handle challenging situation. When it comes to their stress sometimes they feel tension, pressure, and negative emotions but they cope up with their stress in work and school settings. They can avoid stress due to problem and emotion so they can handle every situation.
