Abstract: PADERNA, MARTEL 0. Calamansi (Citrus microcarpa) Juice with Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) Marketing Enterprise: An Entrepreneurial Development Project. Entrepreneurial Development Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship major in Crop Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Edgardo A. Gonzales. The project was established in Coffee Processing Building, Cavite State University — Main Campus Indang, Cavite with a capital amounting to P 26,700. The project was implemented from December 2018 to March 2019. The project was conducted to: (1) provide opportunity to the student to gain more knowledge and skills in processing of calamansi juice with cucumber; (2) apply the skills and knowledge learned to improve marketing of calamansi juice with cucumber; (3) determine the profitability of processing calamasi juice with cucumber- marketing enterprise; and (4) experience the actual marketing strategies and practices used in the given products and give the student information that can be useful in their future career. The project involved the production of 1,497 bottles of calamansi juice with cucumber (CalamanCumber Juice). Purchasing of ingredients such as calamansi and cucumber, and other materials including sugar, water, pitcher, stirrer, pot, measuring cups, measuring spoon, knife, strainer, medium-sized stainless strainer chopping board, blender, styrofoam and plastic juicer and finding a market location were part of pre — production activities while washing of fruits, slicing, extracting, filtering, mixing of ingredients, pasteurizing of juice, transferring of juice, cooling, storing, advertising, marketing were the main production activities done in processing of calamansi juice with cucumber marketing enterprise. Processing of calamansi juice with cucumber was done monthly from December 2018 to March 2019. Storing and selling were done immediately after processing. The bottled juice was sold at retail price of P 35, promotional price of 3 bottles for P 100 and reselling price of P 25 each at different places within Cavite. The cost of three months operation of the processing of calamansi juice with cucumber amounted to P 26,694.14. A net income of P 18.585.86 was realized after deducting the cost of production. Return on investment (ROI) was 69.63 percent. At the end of the project, the student entrepreneur understood the relevance of the work. Managing a processing enterprise is not that easy. The student entrepreneur realized that good management and proper knowledge are necessary in a marketing business. Despite the problems encountered by the student entrepreneur, the project was successful because of her effort and determination.
