Fund Allocation and Expenditure Priorities Among Working Student of Cavite State University - Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. August 2022. Adviser: Ms. Princess M. Feliciano. This study was conducted from August to October 2021, to determine the level of fund allocation and expenditure priorities among working students of Cavite State University Main Campus from 2021 to 2022. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) determine the demographic profile of participants; (2) determine the level of fund allocation of working students; and (3) determine the expenditure priorities of a working student. A total of 330 working students of Cavite State University - Main Campus from 2021 to 2022 served as the participants of the study. Participants were asked to answer a 3-part survey questionnaire, which was composed of 40 statements. Purposive sampling was used to determine the total participants of the study. Frequency count and percentage were used in describing the socio-demographic profile and expenditure priorities of the participants and weighted means were used to determine the level of fund allocation. - The study revealed that the age of the working students of Cavite State University - – Main Campus from 2021 to 2022 who participated in the study ranged from 18 to 34 years old, dominated by female in number, and single. Majority of the participants worked regularly and earned an average monthly income of P4,499. Aside from being employed by companies, some of the participants work under a family business that served as another source of income. Furthermore, the level of fund allocation of participants was moderately good. In terms of expenditure priorities of working students, it was mostly allotted on cost-of-living expenses or the basic needs rather than personal, educational and health expenses. With these, they suggested that the working students should focus on their health since this is the most significant need of human beings. Having insurance and saving is very important, it will help the participants secure from unforeseen events. Especially today that the situation is not currently good and health is the major concern of everyone.
