A face-to-face survey with the aid a survey questionnaire was used to gather primary data. Results show that majority of the solo parents had sales and service as their occupation with the age bracket of 38 to 46 years old, high school graduates, and earn at around ₱hp 100.00 to 8,099.00 a month. Most of the solo parents had 1-4 dependent children left in his/her custody. The participants only availed solo parents' identification card as one of the benefits, services, and privileges provided by the act. They were slightly satisfied with the benefits, services, and privileges provided by the act and noted that the provisions were very important for them as a solo parent. Generally, there was significant relationship between socio-demographic profile of Solo Parents' Welfare Act of 2000 Beneficiaries and their expenditure allocation and there is no significant relationship towards participants' assessment (availment, satisfaction, and perceived importance) on the provisions of Republic Act No. 8972 and their expenditure allocation. However, significant relationships were noted between satisfaction and expenditure allocations on food and beverages, and also between importance and expenditure allocation in terms of education allowances.
