Abstract: DE LUNA, MARYNER VERNA B. and ROJALES, DENYL C. A PROPOSED of Science in Architecture. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2016. Adviser: Architect Epitacio A. Olegario, Jr. The design project "CACAOPI-IIL: A Proposed Cacao Business Hub in Alfonso, Cavite" was conducted from June 201 5 to March 2016 under the supervision of Architect Epitacio A. Olegario, Jr. The study aimed to apply architectural programming on the design method to accomplish establishment of the site criteria, design criteria, design concept, form concept, design philosophy and to prepare effective plans for the facility. The proposal was intended to respond to the need of a facility for the Cacao Business Hub in Alfonso, Cavite. Study confirmed that Mangas Il, Alfonso, Cavite has the characteristics of a suitable site for the proposed project. At the end of the study, the researchers were able to develop a site development plan, necessary floor plans, elevations, section and perspectives for architectural presentation. A detailed scaled model was developed to show its actual appearance and to serve as reference material for the students and faculty members of the University and for the Municipality Of Alfonso for future development. The authors documented and provided a manuscript of the proposed project. The research is recommended to all allied professions of architecture for extensive research to its feasibility. It is also open to present and criticize this study to professionals who are oriented and have more expertise about the context Of the proposal. However, the conduct of cost estimate and structural analysis are recommended since those are not Included in this study.
