Abstract: LIGSA, BARREN D. and RODEO, NASHER NEIL E. Development of Management Information System of Barangay Agus-os Indang, Cavite Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018_ Adviser: Ms. Lydia D. Perido. The study entitled "Development of Management Information System of Barangay Agus-os Indang, Cavite" was conducted to provide an automated system that addresses the issues of using manual process in the Barangay, monitoring and updating records, notifying residents about the barangay activities, and generating reports. The system has six user types: the admin secretary; the barangay captain; the barangay treasurer; the barangay officials; the health workers and; the SK chairman. The system has ten (10) modules: account management module, barangay officials module, resident profiling module, finance management module, health and sanitation module, peace and order module, clearances and forms, communication module, special projects module and, report generation module. The system was developed with the use of the following development tools: PHP as the programming language; Adobe Photoshop for the design of the system; Sublime as the text editor and PHP Server as the database of the system. Iterative Development as the development methodology was used which has seven phases: planning, requirements, analysis and design, implementation, testing, deployment and evaluation phase. The system was evaluated based on the given criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. Evaluators were composed of the following: Information Technology (IT) experts and barangay officials of Agus-os Indang, Cavite. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the requirements of the software.
