Abstract: DELIMOS, ISRAEL C. and GARCIA, LENARD A. Record Management System for College of Engineering and Information Technology Certification/Licensure Examination Performance. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study was conducted at Cavite State University Don Severino delas Alas Campus, Indang Cavite, from August 2018 to May 2019. The study aimed to provide a system that can ease the job of authorized staff in consolidating, managing the records and generating reports based on the College of Engineering and Information Technology Certification and Licensure Examination Performances. Specifically aimed to: 1. to help authorized staffs in consolidating and managing the records of certification/licensure examination results; 2. provide a system that may help the authorized staffs for generating a report based on certification/licensure examination results; and 3. to help in decision making purposes. The researchers accomplished the study by following Iterative Development Model. The researcher's initial implementation aimed to create a system or deliverable to which the user can react based on the feedbacks of clients. The software applications and tools used were Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), My Structured Query Language (MySQL), Notepad, HTML, CSS, and Adobe Photoshop. The evaluation of the system includes different categories such as functionality, reliability, usability, and user-friendliness. Fifty respondents evaluated the software which obtained the overall mean of 4.68 with descriptive interpretation of excellent. This means that the respondents were certain satisfied with the developed system. The researchers have proven the effectiveness of the application. Although the objectives of the study were successfully met based on the data gathered, the following recommendations are also advised: 1. expand the system to the other colleges with programs that necessarily taking licensure examination and other certifications; 2. Include the whole total summary of the takers/passers of a certain data that is needed by the users from old data up to present examinees; and 3. include the status of submission for every department MIS and put a notification for them indicating deadlines.
