Abstract: This farm practice was conducted at the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite by putting up an income generating, "Home Vegetable Production" through basket compost gardening. The project aimed to develop the student capability, to have adequate experiences through actual exposure in the vegetable production as well as to present the technical skills in agriculture and related activities. An area of 60 square meters was used as the project site. Different varieties of vegetables were planted. The area was prepared by plowing the soil with the aid of native hoe or mattock twice before planting. Application of fertilizer was done by supplying organic matter in the compost basket anytime necessary. Planting was done following the relay planting method. First planting was subsequently done as soon as the bed is prepared. Weeding and cultivation was done by the use of hand trowel, and these were done as the need arises. There was no pesticide nor insecticide used in the project because the damage was minimal.
