Abstract: AVIZOLA, RENZ YVAN S. and CUETO, JONRIQUE F. March 2017 "Development of Programmable Logic Controller Trainer".Undergraduate Design Project, Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology, Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Mr Garry M. Cahibaybayan. The programmable logic controller trainer (PLC) was designed to develop a training device that will be used by the students and instructors of Electrical Technology. The system was installed with push buttons, toggle switch (inputs), relays and mini conveyor prototype (outputs) to demonstrate the program that is written in the PLC A power supply having 24vDC output is used for the supply of the PLC. A cellphone charger having SvDC output is used for the supply of the prototype mini conveyor and 220vAC is used for the supply of the indicator lights. The conveyor uses a 5vDC-7.5vDC dynamo motor. The programmable logic controller trainer (PLC) is composed of: circuit breaker, extension outlet, power supply, charger, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), relays, toggle switch, push buttons, indicator lights, prototype mini conveyor, and wires. The components are mounted on a frame made of 1/2 size plywood supported by 1/4 size angle bar frame. The plywood are fastened on the on the angle bar frame by wood screws. The components are fixed on the plywood The prototype mini conveyor is not fix on the trainer so that it can be easily attach on the trainer for demonstrations. The conveyor and indicator lights are connected in the relays where they will operate it depends on the operations of the relay.
