Summary: The project, Production of "Gabing Tagalog" Intercropped With Corn was conducted at Barangay Daine, Indang, Cavite from June to December, 1990. This project aimed to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills on intercropping "Gabing Tagalog" with corn. Areas of 1,500 square meters were used in the project. One hundred fifty kilograms of high-yielding variety of "Gabing Tagalog" and one kilogram of UPCA variety 2 of corn were used in an intercropping scheme. Improved recommended practices were followed. Both crops were planted on the first week of June and were harvested on the later part of December, 1990. The harvested "Gabing Tagalog" yielded 560 kilograms and corn, 30 kilograms. The project gave a net income of P 1,540,36 which was higher than the expected yield.
