Abstract: The project, "intercropping Peanut with Corn Under Two Year Old Mango and Santol '' was conducted at Barangay Palangue 2, Naic, Cavite from August to November 1990. This project aimed to familiarize with cultural management practices required by peanut and corn when intercropped under two year old mango and santol and to determine the profitability of peanut and corn production. An area of 1,500 square meter field was plowed and harrowed twice with one week interval. Valencia Variety of peanut and IPB-I of corn were planted and an intercropping scheme were used in this project. All improved and recommended practices were followed. Planting both crops commenced in the early part of August and harvested on the later part of November. Based on the cost and return analysis, results showed that intercropping peanut with corn under two year old mango and santol gained a net income of P4,073.51. This proved that intercropping peanut with corn under two year old mango and santol is a profit-able project especially in the barrio of Palangue 2, Naic Cavite.
