Abstract: This farm practice was conducted at Sabang, Naic, Cavite from November 11, 1990 to December 29, 1990. Two hundred (200) day-old chicks were used in this project with the total weight of 283 kg or an average weight of 1.46 kg. The birds consumed a total of 742.9 kg feeds with an average of 3.843 kg. An average daily gain of .0290 kg and average feed efficiency of 2.61 were attained by the birds. The birds were disposed of on a liveweight basis at P38.00/kg. The cost of production was P9,971.40; the gross sale was P10,790.00, giving a net income of P818.60. The student applied the different management practices involved in broiler production and encouraged the farmer to continuously practice the technology of supplementing 30 percent grated coconut.
