Abstract: The farm practice was conducted at Kayquit, Indang, Cavite from August 1990 to December 1990. This aimed to apply technical and managerial knowledge gained from the classroom by the student and acquire skills in operating an actual backyard swine fattening project. The project started with three weaning with a total weight of 37.7 kg or an average weight of 12:5 kg. The three hog consumed a total of 790 kg of feeds or an average of 246.7 kg. An average feed efficiency of 3.96 was attained by the hogs. During. The farm practice, the student was able to apply technical knowledge in raising fattening hogs and at the same time acquired practical skills in operating such a project.
