A Farm Practice was conducted at Cavite State University (formerly Don Severino Agricultural College) Piggery Project, Indang, Cavite from August to December, 1995 to acquire: and have managerial and manipulative skills on hog raising and to determine its actual cost and return. Ten weanlings with an average of 10 kgs were used in the project. The animals owe fed three times a day (7:00 in the morning, 12:00 noon, and 5:00 in the afternoon) via pore commercial hog starter mash on the first month and pure commercial hog grower mash from second up to third of feeding operation. On the fourth month, pure commercial hog finisher mash was given. Wet feeding was followed all throughout the production period. The project had an actual cost P 37,128.33 and earned a net profit of P 6,411.67. The actual return on investment (ROI) of 17.27 % was better than the projected 11.97 %.
