Abstract: CASTRO, MICHELLE COLORADO "Pricing Strategies of Steniel Cavite Packaging Corporation", Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing, Cavite State University, indang, Cavite. April, 1999: Adviser: Mrs. Lolita Herrera. A case study was conducted at Steniel Cavite Packaging Corporation at Gateway Business Park, General Trias Cavite Philippines. This study was aimed to identify the factors that affect the pricing system of the firm. Problems were identified and feasible solutions were recommended. The study focused on the organization and management of the firm with emphasis on its pricing aspect. Data and information were gathered through the use of firm manual, records and files, and through observations and actual interview with the quality system manager and other employees of the firm. The factors that affect the pricing system of the firm are the devaluation of peso or the changing value of dollar ($)• The other factor is the raw material used in the product. Products are usually designed to meet customer satisfaction. The company manufacture corrugated carton box from paper to board, through the use of modern flexo machines. It delivers the finished product based on the orders made by the customers which include test, dimension, design, color, quality, quantity, shipment and payment. The prices of the boxes were based on the cost of raw materials used. At present, Steniel works towards ISO-9002, which means certification for its major plants aimed at providing its customers with quality products and services from processing sales orders to finished products delivery.
