The program was developed at Cybersuite, Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite from October 1999 to February 2000. The study primarily aimed to develop software, which is an Expert Support System on Native Medicinal Plants. Specifically, it aimed to give information on possible treatments to diseases and ailments using medicinal plants. Also, it developed an Expert Support System using Visual Basic 6.0 and can serve as a support to an expert. Interviews and research were done as the software methodology to gather data and acquire information concerning the topic. Paper prototyping was used as the methodology and Visual Basic 6.0 as the programming language. The developed software product, would serve as support material to medical experts, would serve as reference to researchers in their related studies and would reveal the importance of medicinal plants in diagnosing diseases and ailments.
