Abstract: GLORIANI, SHINETTE H., and PADILLA, GLADISMYR R. Online Management Information System of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Special Problem, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2004. Adviser: Mrs. Joy M. Arayata. The study was conducted at the College of Engineering and Information Technology of the Cavite State University. Specifically, it aimed to create a web-based management information system that will provide relevant information about the college, enable the students to email the faculty for communication purposes using an online message posting, provide image maps on specific area of the college and provide a user-friendly software. Paper prototyping was the paradigm used which served as the basis on obtaining the set of objectives of the study. This method consisted of different phases such as Requirement Gathering, Quick Design, Build/Revise Mock-Up, and Evaluate and Refine Requirements. Data flow diagram was in graphical explanation used to describe the system the detailed view of all the part of the system. System testing which included function testing, and performance listing was used to evaluate the software product.
