RCD Group of Companies is engaged in land development, constructions and marketing projects of different developers like house and lot packages, commercial and residential subdivisions, and condominiums. The company has been in the real estate industry for 20 years. Over 10 billion worth of house and lot units are sold and 1,000 residential units are built by the company and have been accredited to almost 50 developers (North and South of Luzon). Among the major problems encountered by the company were cash shortages, unavailable fund to meet currently maturing obligations, slow sales turnover and withdrawal of clients due to the Asian crisis in 1997. However, RCD managed to survive the problems by hiring in-house lawyers and collecting agencies, strengthening the management team and formulating the best strategic plans.
