A Total population of 174 bakeries in Imus, Cavite was considered in the study. Majority of which are operating within 1 year and 1 day to 4 years (42%). Most (76%) started the business with an estimated capital of 100,000 and below and, 55 said they operate the business 17 hours. Bakeries, like any other businesses, have lots of problems to attend to. The researcher chose to study the 3 major problems among the respondent bakeries. These include the fluctuating prices of raw materials and price of petroleum products, the competition in the area and the varying overhead/ generating costs of operation. Of the 174 respondents, 117 (67.2%) bakeries encountered the fluctuating prices of raw materials and price of petroleum products, 15 (8.7%) faced the competition in the area and 42 (24.1%) encountered the varying overhead/ generating costs of operation as their problem. It was also found out that the owners of the respondent bakeries have their various marketing strategies as their coping mechanisms against these problems, coming up with those marketing strategies which were considered most effective in dealing with the identified problems. Further, the study revealed that applying the marketing strategies considered most effective in dealing with these identified problems, the owners of the respondent bakeries experienced increase in their sales and volume of customers served daily, resulting in lesser quantity of daily bread left-over. Proper management also of supplies resulted in reduced overhead and generating expense of these bakeries.
