Abstract: ALLEN PAUL K. ACLAN and DENNESE ANNE M. LAGAC. Development of Human Resource Management Information System for Cavite National High School. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Mr. Simeon E. Daez. This study was conducted to cater the problems of the Cavite National High School in terms of Human Resource Management. With the aid of the system, the risk of losing files will be reduced by making the file storage automatic through the faculty management module, the delay of evaluation results will be avoided with the use of evaluation module, the access to each employee about their information will be easy using account module, leave credits of employees will be monitored using leave monitoring module and reports will be generated the soonest time possible with the use of the report generation module. Rational Unified Process (RUP) was used as the methodology and framework of the study, which involves 4 phases, particularly, the Inception Phase, Elaboration Phase, Construction Phase and Transition Phase. The software was evaluated and tested using unit, integration and acceptance testing. The application, software and tools that were used in the development of the system are: My Structured Query Language (MySQL) for the database storage, Apache as the server, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the scripting languages and Adobe Photoshop for image editing. Fifty (50) employees of Cavite National High School and Fifty (50) Random people including students and some IT experts evaluated and gave their feed backs toward the system. It was evaluated according to this criteria; Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability and Portability.
