Abstract: ULAT, ANNA FATIMA L., Aggression among Second Year BS Criminology Students With and Without Suicide Ideation at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Ms. Joy N. Babaan. Total enumeration or the total number of the participants was used in the study wherein 490 second year BS Criminology students were involved. The students were given Adolescent Suicide Ideation Assessment that was adapted by the researcher from a master's thesis done by Ms. Desiel Diel (2009) at Bacolod City, and the Scale of Aggression that was also adapted from an undergraduate thesis of Ms. Rosana Rojales (2011). Specifically, it aimed to answer the following questions: (1) How many second year BS Criminology students has suicide ideation, do not have suicide ideation; (2) What is the level of aggression of the participants with suicide ideation, without suicide ideation; (3) Is there a significant relationship on the level of aggression among students with and without suicide ideation; and (4) Is there a significant difference on the level of aggression between students with and without suicide ideation. Chi-square was used for the computation of the relationship on the level of aggression among students with and without suicide ideation. Meanwhile, Mann-Whitney was used in determining the difference on the level of aggression between students with and without suicide ideation. Based on the result of the study, it was found out that level of aggression has no significant relationship to the participants either having suicide ideation or not. Meanwhile, there is a significant difference between level of aggression of participants having suicide ideation and level of aggression of those not having suicide ideation although the difference is not highly significant. This study of the relationship and difference of level of aggression and presence or absence of suicide ideation would not only help the researcher but also to the colleges with criminology course, students, guidance counselors, parents of the students and future researchers for the basis of information and further knowledge about the topic and the result of the study.
