Cyberbullying, Self-estem and Interpersonal Relationship of Cavite State University.Undergraduate Thesis.Bachelor of Science in Psychology.Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. October 2012. Adviser: Dr. Cecilia B. Banaag. The study determined the relationship of cyberbullying, self-esteem and interpersonal relationship among the college students of Cavite State University for Academic Year 2012-2013. Descriptive comparative-correlation design was used in this study. Purposive sampling was also used. Cyberbullying Scale, interpersonal relationship scale and rosenberg self-esteem scale were the instruments utilized and administered to college students. Results of this study revealed that majority of the students were 16 years old of age and female students outnumbered their counterpart. There is no significant difference on the level of cyberbullying, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationship when grouped by gender. When grouped by age, the results also revealed that there is no significant difference on the level of self-esteem and interpersonal relationship. On the other hand, the level of cyberbullying has a significant difference. a means that the younger the students are, the more prone they are in bullying incidents compared to the older students. The result also shows that there is no significant relationship on the level of cyberbullying and on the level of self-esteem. For the respondents it means that cyberbullying was not really affecting the self-esteem of the students. There is also no significant relationship on the level of cyberbullying and on the level of interpersonal relationship. It means that cyberbullying was not really affecting the interpersonal relationship of the students. Meanwhile, the result also shows that there is no significant relationship on the level of self-esteem and on the level of interpersonal relationship. The results focused on the students having a low-level of self-esteem. The results imply that the University should have activities that focus on the enhancement of self-esteem of the students.
