Abstract: SEGOVIA, ANA CINDY LYN JAVIER. Performance of Broilers Fed with Selected Commercial feeds in Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Animal Science. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Irvin dl Matel, DVM The study was conducted to determine which among the selected commercial feeds in Indang, Cavite would give the optimum broiler performance in terms of growth rate, feed conversion efficiency and income return. A total of 300-day old chicks was randomly distributed into three treatments replicated four times with 25 birds per replication using Complete Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments used were Treatment 1-Feed A; Treatment 2-Feed B; Treatment 3-Treatment C. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) . Significant (P<0.0) body weights and feed efficiencies were observed with birds fed Feed A on the lead. Similar (P>0.0) feed consumptions were noted. Broilers given Feed A gave the highest income while those provided with Feed C, the lowest return. A 100 percent harvest recovery was recorded. The results of the study revealed that the optimum performance of broilers were recorded among the birds given Feed A. Thus, to have a profitable production, Feed A is recommended to broiler raisers instead of Feed B and Feed C.
