This study, entitled "Credit and Collection System of Famous Pacific Forwarding Phils., Inc", was conducted at the 26th Floor Trident Tower, 312 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City, particularly at the Accounting Department from July 16 to September 7, 2012. It aimed to: describe credit and collection system of the company, determine the effectiveness of credit and collection system of the company, determine the problems in it, and recommend feasible solutions to the problems encountered. The data and information about the company's credit and collection were obtained from office records and files. Interview with the Chief Financial Officer, accounting staff and other departments' staff were conducted for additional knowledge and also for the validation of the information obtained. Data gathered were analyzed through descriptive and quantitative methods. Several indicators such as Day Sales Outstanding, Aging Analysis and Collection Effectiveness Index were used to determine the effectiveness of the credit and collection system of the company. The company's credit system starts with credit application, then credit investigation, credit screening, credit decision and credit approval/disapproval respectively.
