Abstract: MANALANG, MAR ASIA L. "Self-Esteem and Emotional Maturity of Third Year Students With Separated Parents in Dasmarinas North National High School". Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. S.Y. 2012-2013. Mrs. Jasmin N. Avellanosa. The study aimed to determine the level of self-esteem, level of emotional maturity and if there is a relationship between the level of self-esteem and level of emotional maturity among the participants. The study was conducted and administered among one hundred twenty six (126) third year high school students in Dasmarinas North National High School. Descriptive-correlational research method was used in this study while frequency counts, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Spearman Rank Correlation test were used as the statistical treatment. The Self-Esteem Scale by Morris Rosenberg, Ph. D. and Emotional Maturity Scale by De Villa were used as the instrument to find out the level of self-esteem and level of emotional maturity of the third year students with separated parents respectively. The study revealed that self-esteem and emotional maturity levels of the participants were high. The study also revealed that there is a significant relationship between the level of self-esteem and level of emotional maturity of the participants.
