Abstract: DULA, JOHN MARK L. And PALARPALAR, JOHN ALDRIN L. Online Management Information System for Trece Martires City National High School Conchu Annex. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Ms Lydia P. Nosa. This study was conducted to develop an online management information system for Trece Martires City National High School that aimed to solve the problems encountered regarding the transactions of the school. The study aimed to provide a secured and organized records of the students and employees, fast accurate generating of reports, and an improved dissemination of announcements. The system has five modules: account management, subject, employee and student information, communication, and report generation. The proponents used the software development methodology as the method of developing system. This methodology has six phases: analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code test/debug, integration of sub procedures, and test/implementation. The system was developed through the use of different software tools: PI--IP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the scripting language, My Structured Query Language (MySQL) for the database management system, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), Apache for the web server, and Notepad++ and Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 for the editor. The system was evaluated by 219 participants based on the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The system passed all the given criteria in the evaluation and met all the aimed features and functionality as well as the requirements and its objectives.
