Abstract: BAUTISTA, AUDREY M., Rewards and Recognition in relation to Satisfaction and Motivation of selected Catholic high school teachers in Cavite, Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management, Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser Prof. Cecilia T. Cayao. This study was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction on rewards and recognition and motivation of teachers of Catholic high schools in Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to determine a) the demographic profile of teachers in terms of: age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, and length of service; b) forms of rewards and recognition given by the catholic high school; c) the level of satisfaction of teachers towards reward and recognition; d) the level of motivation of catholic high school teachers; e) if there is a significant relationship between the level of satisfaction on rewards and recognition and level of motivation; f) the effectiveness of rewards and recognition on the motivation of the teachers in Catholic high school in Cavite. The study was conducted in selected Catholic high schools in Cavite and a total of 97 teachers served as the respondents of this study. Data were gathered using survey questionnaire and were analyzed using different statistical tools. The average age of the respondents was 30, more than half of the respondents were single and had been teaching for 1-5 years. Seventy five percent were Bachelor’s degree holder. The respondents were satisfied with rewards and recognition given to them and all of them were motivated.
