Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Engr. Gilberto S. David The study aimed to describe the production process of the firm, to identify the different quality control practices involved in the production activities, to identify the quality control system in the production, to analyze the firm's quality control performance in the production of firearms and ammunition using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, and to identify the problems encountered in the quality control system of the company and recommend feasible solutions for the identified problems. Data were gathered through the use of interviews and observations, while other information were taken from the documents and files of the Arms Corporation of the Philippines. The author used a descriptive method to identify the quality control performance in the production of firearms and ammunition of the firm. This study also provided data for the analysis and interpretations of observations, interviews, and discussions within the firm. It was concluded that the firm has the capacity to perform correct processes and exceedingly satisfactory products for the customers. Most of the results presented demonstrate outstanding records which relates to the quality of the products and efficiency of the manufacturing process. The company provides two kinds of products, the firearms and ammunition. The processes in the production are said to be complicated and time consuming before the good can be accepted as a quality product.
